Built from friendship.
Two best friends. Too many cups of coffee. A lot of “what ifs” – and then, finally, one very real room.
Jonida and Uarda spent years sharing the same quiet dream: a place that felt genuinely good to be in. Not just beautiful – but warm. The kind of place you sit down in and suddenly don’t want to leave. So before they opened the doors to anyone else, they sat in every chair, tried all the tables, moved things around more times than they can count. If it didn’t feel right to them, it wasn’t ready.
The Back Room is what happened when that dream stopped being a what-if. It’s built from friendship, curiosity, and a deep love for specialty coffee –
brewed with beans from The Barn Berlin, and held together by the same warmth they’ve always brought to every room they’ve been in.

We’re a specialty coffee shop in Tirana serving single origin beans roasted by The Barn Berlin – one of Europe’s most respected specialty roasters. Our espresso menu runs from a classic espresso to flat white, cortado, and latte macchiato. We also brew V60 pour over and cold brew using rotating single origin filter beans from Ethiopia, Kenya, Burundi, and Colombia.
Yes. We offer plant-based milk for all coffee drinks. Our Vegan Loaf is made in-house daily and is completely plant-based. Most of our menu is vegan-friendly or can be adapted – just ask your barista.
We’re on Rruga Sulejman Delvina in the Sheshi Wilson area of Tirana – one of the city’s most walkable and lively neighbourhoods. Open daily from 09:00 to 18:00.
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available for all guests. We’re a comfortable spot to work from – ask your barista for the password when you arrive.
Absolutely. We stock a rotating selection of The Barn Berlin filter beans in 250g bags – currently including origins from Ethiopia, Burundi, Kenya, and Colombia. Ask your barista what’s available and they’ll help you choose based on your taste preferences and brew method.
We’re one of the only specialty coffee shops in Tirana working exclusively with a world-class European roaster – The Barn Berlin. Every bean we use is single origin and traceable to a specific farm or cooperative. Beyond the coffee, The Back Room was built by two friends who cared deeply about creating a space that feels genuinely good to be in. That care shows in every detail, from the way we brew to the way the room feels.
We serve a selection of in-house desserts daily – including cookies, cheesecake, and a vegan loaf. We also offer matcha, chai latte, turmeric latte, organic hot chocolate, kombucha, and fresh orange juice alongside our full coffee menu.
